“The incentive is to keep us divided” sentiment came from listening to the Joe Rogan Experience Podcast episode 1485. In this episode he discusses with Krystal and Saagar, hosts from the bipartisan political morning talk show, “Rising”, the challenges facing the Left (Democrats) and the Right (Republicans). This quote resonated deeply with me as our country faces, arguably, some of the most politically divisive times. This conversation was refreshing to hear arguments and criticisms from both sides of the aisle to both opposing and their own associated party. Links below for your viewing and listening pleasure.
The illustration concept developed from the underlying message in this podcast episode, but also my own internal feelings to where our country seems to stand - as long as the working class is divided and distracted, our nation’s leaders will be profiting and pleasing their special interest parties.
